First, there was the time that The Jetsons meet The Flinstones. Now, one of the best sitcoms of all time is crossover over a one-time-great-now-pretty-mediocre sitcom.
Fox has just announced that two of its most popular shows, The Simpsons and Family Guy, are teaming together in Fall 2014 for a crossover episode. According to TV Line, the Griffins will be paying a visit to Springfield in a unique episode of Family Guy.
Among the shenanigans set to take place are Peter and Homer, and Marge and Lois, becoming best friends, Stewie being taken by Bart’s mischievousness and Lisa making it her mission to find Meg’s talent.
I haven’t watched a new Family Guy episode in years. But this, just for curiosity, I might have to check this one out. If anything, I’m more curious how they will cross The Simpsons‘ wittiness with Family Guy‘s ongoing desire to not try anymore.
