Fox Searchlight just released the trailer for Enough Said, the new film from writer/director Nicole Holofcener (Please Give). The most notable thing about this is that this will be one of James Gandolifini’s last movies, as the actor passed away a little more than a month ago. It’ll be his first movie released since his passing.
In addition to Gandolifini, the film stars Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Catherine Keener, Toni Collette and Ben Falcone. I’m getting a very strong Woody Allen vibe from this trailer—which the trailer seems to be fully aware of based on its letter font— and I mean that in a good way. I’ll mostly be looking forward to this, though, to see Gandolfini at work. This looks like it’ll be one of his sweeter performances.
It’ll soon be making its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, before its release on September 20.
