The new trailer for the hotly anticipated sequel Thor: The Dark World was just released online today. While this shows some of the footage just released at Comic-Con, this is not the same trailer that was shown there.

Thor: The Dark World will be in theaters on November 8.

Check it out below:

Additionally, we’ve known that Marvel Studios have begun planning their movies out for the next couple years. Of course, Phase 2 has all been lined out, which is leading up to The Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, and we believed they were just getting their Phase 3 figured out now.

But, according to producer Kevin Feige, they already have more things figured out than we originally believed, as they have their line-up planned for the next eight years, leading up to 2021.

Marvel Studios President Feige said the following to Wired, noting that this has all been planned out since 2006:

“Five years ago, looking at our plan, we knew that if Avengers was going to work, the movies had to stand alone. Now we have to prove to the studio that we’re more than just these five characters, these five franchises…..I could arguably say what we’re planning for the year 2021. Will that happen? I don’t know. But what we planned for 2015 in 2006 is happening.”

While this is very interesting, I guess the most important thing to note is that they only have a rough outline of what they want to do for the next eight years. We do know, however, that they have all their movies lined-up to 2015, which will see the releases of The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man.
