Jimmy Fallon Takes Over ‘The Tonight Show’ in February 2014

Jay Leno will leave his post on The Tonight Show— for the second time, mind you— on February 6, 2014, the night before NBC begins its coverage of the Winter Olympics.  Jimmy Fallon, host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, is now set to take over his spot after the Winter Olympics.

The last day of the Winter Olympics is February 23, so expect Fallon to be filling in his position not long after that. Set to take over Fallon’s position on Late Night is Seth Meyers, of SNL fame.

I hope Leno is being serious this time around. I don’t really care much for Fallon’s comedy, but he seems like a nice enough guy. So I won’t want him to go through another Conan situation. Either way, I’ll be stick to my typical late night talk show choices (when I watch late night talk shows at all), like Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, and, occasionally, David Letterman.
