Ron Burgundy’s legend is going to continue to the big screen on December 20, 2013 with Anchorman: The Legend Continues. But, as we all know, he’s kind of a big deal, and another movie is not going to suffice.
Random House’s Crown Archetype imprint has just announced that they will be publishing the autobiography Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings. According to the New York Times, the book will “offer a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor.” The book is planning to hit bookshelves on November 19, a little more than a month before the film heads into theaters.
The book will also “share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team,” and will “sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him.” When asked about his book, Burgundy had only the following to say, “I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work.”
It’s only safe to assume that this is worthy of Burgundy’s leather bound book collection. But we’ll have to find out when it hits bookshelves in November.
