In just three short weeks, Breaking Bad will be ending its run forever.
But that doesn’t mean that it’ll be the last time we’ll ever see that world again, as it has been revealed that the much-rumored about spin-off show, tentatively called Better Call Saul, is a go at AMC.
Deadline reveals that the show will serve as a prequel to the events that happen in Breaking Bad, and will be a one-hour series focusing on the evolution of Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk) before he met Walter White.
Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad, and Peter Gould, the man who created the character of Saul Goodman, have been working together for the past couple months to conceive this show. It appears that the show was in a couple of debates, as other outlets, like Netflix, were interested in hosting the show on their formats.
No news yet on when the show is set to air, but it is going to happen. So, with that, of course, better call Saul and happy 200th post everyone!
