Among the better action movies to come out in the past couple years was The Raid: Redemption. While not exactly the “non-stop action” flick that some claimed it to be, there was no shortage of action and violence to be found throughout, and, from the look of things, they aren’t stopping with its sequel, The Raid 2: Berendal.
The first trailer for the film has just been released, thanks to Twitch, and it gives exactly what it should: a taste of the kick-ass action to come, which looks just as quick and insane as the last movie, if not more. I was already pumped for this sequel, and now I’m drop dead excited for it. The film doesn’t have an official U.S. release date yet, but expect it to come out sometime in 2014, as Sony Pictures Classics and Stage 6 Films announced that they will handle the American release.
