If you didn’t get the memo yet, Arnold Schwarzenegger is back—at least in the movies.
Further enunciating his re-emergence in films is Sabotage, previously titled Ten, the new film from David Ayer (End of Watch). The first trailer for the film has just been released.
Ultimately, what seems to be separating this from just being a run-of-the-mill, throwaway action film is Ayer’s intense action direction. If there is anything saving this film, it’s that. It looks like this film would be a lot better if it had a stronger script. There are some painfully bad lines here. I was not surprised in the slightest to see that Skip Woods (A Good Day to Die Hard) helped write the script at the end. I’m going to say that this is probably going to be bad, but there is a bit of promise here, so I hope to be proven wrong when the film comes out April 11, 2014.
