Last week, it was revealed that the next X-Men movie would be titled X-Men: Apocalypse and it would be released on May 27, 2016. Now, it has been confirmed that Bryan Singer, the man who directed the first two X-Men movies and is currently directing the next, X-Men: Days of Future Past, will be returning again.
Vulture revealed the director’s return, but also revealed that Apocalypse will be chronicling the events that happened after Days of Future Past. But word is being spread, according to Rope of Silicon, that Hugh Jackman, a.k.a. Wolverine, a.k.a. the man we’ve all come to associate primarily with X-Men, may be the first movie not to feature him in any way, shape or form. That would certainly be an interesting change of events.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released May 23, 2014.
